Christian Wijnant’s, work at Belgium’s Antwerp School of Design earned him an invitation to lecture there as well as a series of important international awards.
His colors, inspired by crystals and minerals, along with his eclectic technical mastery explain his feel for what his clients want, which in turn explains why his creations are featured at leading fashion stores and boutiques worldwide.
We love how Christian’s work integrates his formal training in mathematics, and how he literally “feels” the yarn and understands how it is going to react. He sees a single thread of yarn and instinctively translates it into a unique, three-dimensional piece.
